Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is highly infectious, and the risk of cross infection is high among front-line medical staff. In our department, we have made full use of bed call intercom system and monitoring system in the isolation wards for COVID-19, and also tried to use mobile phones, walkie talkie and other means of communication. These means greatly reduced occupational exposure, close contact between medical staff and patients, nosocomial infection risk and the use of medical protective equipment, which improves the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment.
