    Abstract:

Objective To investigate the expression of CDX2,PTEN,Ecadherin and NM23 in gastric cancer and its clinical significance. Methods Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect expression of CDX2,PTEN,Ecadherin and NM23 in 77 gastric cancer specimens and 30 normal stomach mucosal tissues, and then the relationship of the expression with clinical pathology parameters was analyzed. Results The positive rates of CDX2,PTEN,Ecadherin and NM23 were significantly higher in gastric cancer tissues than those in the normal gastric tissues (P<0.05). The expression of CDX2,PTEN,Ecadherin and NM23 was correlated with the differentiation, histological type, infiltration, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage of the tumors (P<0.05),but not with patients’ gender, age or tumor size(P>0.05). The 1,3 and 5year survival rates of CDX2,PTEN,Ecadherin and NM23 positive patients were higher than those of negative patients(P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion The expression of CDX2,PTEN,Ecadherin,NM23 in gastric cancer is related to the differentiation, infiltration, lymph node metastasis and TNM stage of gastric cancer, and detecting their expression in gastric cancer may help to judge the prognosis of gastric cancer.
