Calcification is a common sign in breast imaging and it can be seen in many breast diseases. Appropriate classification of breast calcifications is helpful for the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. This paper reviews the current diagnosis and ultrasound-guided biopsy of breast calcifications, hoping to provide new sight in the diagnosis and treatment of breast calcification.
