    Abstract:

    Objective : To study a new method for treatment of spastic bladd er after spinal cord injury. Methods: By utilizing the characteris tics of sacral plexus root and its physiological anatomy, a new way called diffe rential sacral nerve anterior rhizotomy was designed to treat spastic bladder af ter spinal cord injury. Results: The spasticity of bladder was reduced and the storage and evacuation function of bladder was improved significantly. The bladder function became normal in the follow-up investigation after 6 month s. Conclusion: Differential sacral nerve anterior rhizotormy is an effective method to treat spastic bladder after spinal cord injury
