Objective: To study the influence of mannitol on the pharmacokinetics of fluconazole. Methods:After oral administration the concentration of fluconazole in serum was determined by HPLC. The concentration of fluconazole in serum-time profiles were conformed by 3P87 program. Results and conclusion: The pharmacokinetic parameters of fluconazole alone and combined with mannitol were: ka=(0.19±0.08) and (0.40±0.13) h-1 (P<0.05), t1/2ka =( 3.97±1.21) and (2.05±1.08) h (P<0.05). No significant differences were noted between fluconazole alone and in combination with mannitol in cmax and AUC (P>0.05).
