    Abstract:

Objective: To study the influence of electret field on fibroblast cell cycle and to probe its mechanism. Methods: The effect of teflon (PTFE) electret on the parameter of fibroblast cell cycle with flow cytometry in 2 dimentional dot diagram was studied. Results: (1) After 24 h action of negative PTFE, the cell number in S phase increased. Negative electret could improve cell growth. (2) Negative electret not only enhanced the growth of cells, but also enhanced the apoptosis of cell. (3) After 24 h action of positive electret on fibroblast, the cell number in G1 phase increased, while the cell number decreased in S and G2 phase. Conclusion: Negative electret may improve cell growth. Positive electret could block some cell in G1 phase. So it may restrain the cell growth of fibroblast.
