催产素对能量平衡的作用机制

摘要:
肥胖症是一种高度复杂的代谢紊乱疾病,其机制牵涉到调控食物摄入和能量支出的中枢机制。虽然导致肥胖的基本发病机制尚不清楚,然而,催产素(Oxytocin, OT)在体重的调控中无疑发挥了重要作用。以前的研究表明,中枢或外周给予OT产生厌食作用。但近来,有研究表明OT或其受体缺乏的啮齿类动物发展为迟发性肥胖,而总的食物摄入量却没有变化,这表明OT对能量代谢的调节具有重要的作用。本文对OT在能量平衡调控中的作用进行了详细论述,侧重于阐明OT在食欲调控、体温调节及能量代谢中的作用。

The action and its mechanism of oxytocin on the balance of energy

Abstract:
Obesity is a complex metabolic disorder, which involves central mechanisms that control food intake and energy expenditure.The basic mechanisms that lead to obesity are not fully understood, however, oxytocin undoubtedly plays a role in regulating body weight. Previous studies have shown that central or peripheral oxytocin administration induces anorexia. But recently, some researchs have shown that rodents lack of oxytocin or its receptor develop late-onset obesity without changing their total food intake, which indicates the importance of oxytocin to energy metabolism. The effects of oxytocin on energy balance regulation is discussed in detail, especially the role of oxytocin on appetite regulation, thermoregulation, and energy metabolism.
